Sweater: Banana Republic (old), Skirt: A Dominguez, Heels: Coach, Handbag: Vintage, Sunglasses: Gap
I've been wearing a lot of skirts lately, mostly because it's easier for me to pull together and pair with a neutral top without having to iron anything. This is particularly useful on those mornings you lead yourself to believe a few extra minutes of sleep will make you less drowsy and more prepared to wake up and deal with the day. It's ironic but simple tasks like color coordinating or finding a pair of socks (or shoes!) that match become exponentially difficult when you're running late. Which is why I tend to stick to simple monochromatic looks on those mornings, and if you follow along on Instagram you'll notice I've been posting a lot of all black looks (unintentionally) and that's because I've been trying to squeeze in 'five more minutes' of sleep every morning and it's been backfiring- which is why I've been reaching for a skirt over unironed pants cause for some reason it gives the illusion of someone who woke up on time to get ready.
